Privacy notice
This notice explains what personal data we collect through this website, why, and what your rights are. It is written in plain language on purpose.
Who we are
Intent is a product in development by Kosam Labs Ltd, Container 18, Willway Street, Bristol, BS3 4AZ, United Kingdom. Kosam Labs Ltd is the controller of your personal data. You can contact us at [contact email].
What we collect
We only collect what you give us when you ask for early access:
- Your work email address.
- The size of your engineering team (a range you choose).
- The coding agent you mainly use (an option you choose).
If you email us, we also keep your message and your email address so we can reply.
This website does not currently use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes, we will update this notice before we do it, and ask for consent where the law requires it.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To contact you about early access and arrange a short conversation. Our basis is your consent, which you give by submitting the form, and our legitimate interest in running a business-to-business product trial.
- To understand who is interested, using the team size and coding agent you chose, so we can build something useful. Our basis is our legitimate interest in developing our product.
- To keep this website secure and working. Our basis is our legitimate interest.
We will not sell your data. We will not use it for anything unrelated to Intent.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Netlify, Inc., which hosts this website and receives form submissions.
- Our email provider, used to send and receive email.
These providers may be based outside the UK, including in the United States. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or an adequacy decision.
How long we keep it
We keep early-access sign-ups for up to 12 months, or until you ask us to delete them. If we do not speak to you within that time, we delete your details. If you become a customer or a participant in our trial, we will tell you how long we keep your data at that point.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- tell you what data we hold about you, and give you a copy;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete your data;
- restrict or object to how we use it;
- move your data to another service.
Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. This does not affect anything we did before you withdrew. To use any of these rights, email [contact email]. We will reply within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this notice
If we change this notice, we will update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will tell you by email if we hold your address.
